Why do you show up to protests armed?
We sometimes show up to protests visibly armed for a few reasons. First amongst them is advocacy for community self-defense and self-reliance, presenting a strong message towards fascists that our communities will not be complicit in our victimization. Second requires us to acknowledge that bigotry, patriarchy, these issues that liberals pay lip-service to, are tools of capitalism, and liberals, by nature of being pro-capitalist, cannot affect the positive, foundational change they speak of. All of their token victories are just concessions to be withdrawn at a later date. Liberals then silence voices that are more progressive than theirs, and actively resist our nation progressing to the left while continually capitulating to the right in an attempt to gain their votes, leading to a steady dissent further into fascism. Liberals have & will co-opt meaningful workers' movements and the disruption they cause, noting that no significant social change has occurred in our country without unrest, and they pacify it for the state. As such, they demand that you assimilate into their protests and, in doing so, they silence our voice when it most desperately needs to be heard. And they continue to silence the voices of marginalized communities with their concept of conditional victimhood, only supporting your rights so long as you don't fight your oppressor for them.
Do I need a gun to join?
No, we are more than just a gun club. We are a group of politically like-minded individuals actively striving to make our community a better place. We have many ways you can help that do not require firearm ownership.
What are the requirements for joining?
We only allow legal adults to volunteer. We are a communist-aligned organization, but welcome all who would oppose fascism and bigotry. Recruiters may make calls to determine whether you're a right fit for the organization.
